Triggered by news about what happened to Brittany Higgins in Parliament House Canberra, March4Justice was established in less than 14 days and saw 110,000+ people attend 200 events around Australia on 15 March 2021 to say #EnoughIsEnough when it comes to violence and inequality for women. This M4J national event lit the fuse and ignited an Australia-wide movement for everyone who wants equality, justice, respect, and an end to gendered violence that is still having impact today. This year M4J has turned their attention to local communities asking them to host their own events.
