Sky News: Be ‘ambitious’ rather than ‘obsessed’ over climate targets: Zoe Daniel, 22nd June 2022

Independent member for Goldstein Zoe Daniel says “we need to kind of park the idea of obsessing” over climate targets.

Ms Daniel said “people get obsessed” with the climate target numbers rather than doing “what we need to do”.

“I think we should be more ambitious,” she told Sky News Australia.

“Let’s focus on being ambitious rather than on hitting a particular number.”
