Today I spoke in Parliament about the Stronger Communities Programme, and the fact this Government is yet to announce an extension.
These grants are of huge importance to local Goldstein community organisations as they assist these groups deliver their work for our community.
These grants are much needed in parts of our community. It has been important to me to ensure these grants are decided through a fair and proper process based on need and equity.
During this difficult time, it is important that these programs continue. I ask the government, when we will receive an update on this programme, or will it just wither out?
