Last week I introduced a Matter of Public Importance to the House on social cohesion.
It followed the Opposition Leader’s attempt to cause division by linking antisemitism to the recent High Court decision that ruled indefinite immigration detention unlawful.
Leaders have a responsibility to bring the country together, not divide it.
We cannot allow distress to turn into hate and anger that divides us.
